I would probably feel closer to God. Because, my ladies and very few gents, this fall soup is heavenly. It reminds me that we are not alone in this bazaar universe, because who else would create such lively, healing, and bursting flavors?! Tell! Who?! God! Amen.

I followed her recipe to a T…EXCEPT:

I used ground sage instead of fresh sage

I used shrimp instead of crab (because who in their right mind spends 20 bucks on very-un-fresh crab in Colorado?!)

I used a dash of cardamom (because I always do that’s why) and a dash of cayenne

This perfectly savory and sweet creamy soup has the zip that will warm you right up and leave you satisfied. Trust me folks. Get out your food processor and wow yourself.
